Descrizione

The Aeolian Islands, named UNESCO World Heritage Site, offer a dream scene. Unique in their kind, the Aeolian Islands are lands of rare beauty.
The archipelago, characterized by uncontaminated nature and two active volcanoes, is made up of seven islands: Lipari, Panarea, Volcano, Stromboli, Salina, Alicudi and Filicudi.
Lipari is the largest “sister”, here you can admire the Archaeological Museum and the Norman Cathedral, without forgetting the splendid cove, like the fig tree, and the beaches of Valle Muria and Capo Rosso.
Volcano, according to Greek mythology, is where the forts of Hephaestus, god of fire and blacksmith of gods, are found.
Stromboli is home to the most active European volcano, which with spectacular and frequent eruptions illuminates the archipelago’s nights.
The Aeolian Islands are not only a natural paradise, but also a half inevitable for the typical flavors. Eolian cuisine, has ancient roots and fully reflects the characteristics of the Mediterranean diet. The undisputed king of the typical dishes of the Islands is the fish, followed by the caper and the characteristic cherry tomatoes.
